The Next Chapter: Durham – G House 2.0
To our residents, families, DSPs, supporters, and everyone who's helped shape this journey—thank you. You’ve truly made it a good day.
When we began developing the G House model in Chapel Hill, we envisioned a home rooted in joy, trust and purpose. Two years later, that vision has grown. We introduced the Gday Promise: Have a good day. Help someone else have a good day.
And most recently, we launched G Living, our nonprofit arm to support the healthcare needs of our community. Now, we’re turning the page to a bold new chapter.
Big News: We've Made an Offer on G House 2.0
We’re excited to announce that we’ve put in an offer on a property in Durham. This 1965 ranch-style home, sitting on nearly an acre, near transportation and the American Tabacco Trail is poised to become our next inclusive residence. If all goes well, it will soon house 3–4 residents and two live-in caregivers, expanding our mission to serve more people in a way that’s personal, sustainable, and deeply rooted in community.
While we continue exploring new builds on our Chapel Hill land, this opportunity reminded us: sometimes transformation starts not with new construction, but with reimagining what’s already there.
Why It Matters
This isn’t just a real estate deal—it’s a redefinition of community.
Through the G House model, families become co-owners, not tenants. They build equity while creating long-term housing security for their loved ones. And with the support of LME/MCO Alliance Health, G House 2.0 can become a fully accessible home—blending private investment with public support to meet real, local needs.
Why We’re Moving Thoughtfully
Innovation takes care. We’re moving forward with clarity and intention:
